The purpose of this guide is to instruct users on how to execute campaign creation and tagging generation using the Nielsen Campaign Management Interface (CMI).

Campaign Creation

Logging into CMI

  1. Open the email from Nielsen with your login credentials (check your “Junk” folder if you do not see it in your inbox)
  2. Once logged in and on the campaign landing page, select “Campaigns” from the dropdown menu and select “Create New Campaign”

Step 1: Background

Campaign Name: Enter a unique campaign name

Tip: It is best for this to mimic the campaign name in your Ad Server

Digital Ad Ratings: Select Digital Ad Ratings (DAR)

Date Range: Select campaign duration. Start date should mirror the date of the media launch. If your campaign date range requires extension later on, please contact the Nielsen Technical Services team (digitaltam@nielsen.com) minimum 3 days in advance prior to the campaign end date to have it extended

Campaign Contact: Enter the main Ad Ops/Media Planning contact for this campaign (phone number is optional)
